Watkins Moms Coffee Cake

This is my mom's recipe and was a family favorite for Christmas morning. The house smelled so good with the scents of Cinnamon & Nutmeg when we got up. I still make it on Christmas morning for my family.

1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 cups sugar            
3 cup flour

2 tsp. Watkins Baking Powder
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp. Watkins Nutmeg
1 tsp. Watkins Cinnamon

Cream together butter & sugar; add flour. Mix well.  Take out 1 cup of mixture and  reserve. To the rest add Watkins Baking Powder, eggs, milk, Watkins Nutmeg & Watkins Cinnamon

Pour into two 9" round cake pans. Sprinkle reserved mixture over top then add a little more cinnamon on top of the dry mixture. Bake at 350^o for 25-30 mins. Makes 2 Coffee Cakes.
