Variety Cream Bars
1 Pkg. White Cake Mix (use dry)
1/3 Cup Watkins
Dessert Mix*
1 Egg
1/3 Cup Watkins
Original Grapeseed Oil
1 teas. Watkins
Extract *
3/4 Cup Chopped Nuts
1 Pkg. (8 Oz.) Cream Cheese
1/3 Cup Sugar
1 Egg
2 teas. Watkins
Extract
1/8 teas. Watkins Vanilla
1 teas. Watkins
Cinnamon
In bowl, combine cake mix, Watkins Dessert Mix, egg and
Original Grapeseed Oil, mixing until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup and add 1 teaspoon Watkins
Extract Flavoring to reserved crumbs. Pat remaining crumbs into an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2
inch pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
Beat together cream cheese, sugar, egg, Watkins Vanilla
and 2 teas. Watkins Extract Flavoring until light and smooth. Spread over baked layer.
Sprinkle reserved crumbs over mixture. Combine Watkins Cinnamon and nuts, and sprinkle
over crumb topping. Bake 15 minutes more. Cool and cut into bars.
*Watkins Dessert Mixes that can be used
include: Banana, Butterscotch, Chocolate, Coconut, Lemon or Vanilla. Mix
or match with a complimentary extract. Delicious! Try Coconut Dessert Mix
and Coconut Extract, and mix 1/2 cup drained
crushed pineapple into the cream-cheese mixture. Sprinkle with Coconut instead of
Cinnamon. Delicious!
