
Tex-Mex Pizza
1 Package (14 oz. / 387 g)
Watkins Pizza Crust
Mix
8 Oz. / 227 g. Chorizo Sausage or Hot Italian Sausage
2 Cups / 500 ml Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese, divided
1 Cup / 250 ml Canned Black Beans, drained and rinsed
1 Cup / 250 ml Chopped Green Pepper
1/2 Cup / 125 ml Sliced Green Onion
1 Cup / 250 ml Chopped Tomato
1 teas. / 5 ml Watkins Salsa Seasoning Blend
1/4 teas. / 1.2 ml Watkins Fajita Seasoning
1/4 to 1/2 teas. / 1.2 to 2.5 ml
Watkins Cilantro
1/4 Cup / 60 ml. Sliced Ripe Black Olives
Prepare pizza crust dough according to package
directions. In small skillet, cook crumbled sausage over medium heat until no longer pink.
Sprinkle half of the cheese on top of prepared crust. Top with sausage, beans, green
pepper, and green onion. Combine the chopped tomato, Salsa Seasoning Blend, Fajita
Seasoning, and Cilantro; spoon over top. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and ripe olives.
Bake at 400 degrees F / 250 C for 12 to 15 minutes or until crust is golden brown and
cheese is melted. Makes 8 servings.
