
Seared Sesame Scallops
3 Tbsp. Sesame Seeds
1 1/2 teas. Kosher Salt
1/8 teas. Watkins Ground Black Pepper
12 Large Sea Scallops (about 10 Oz.)
1 1/2 Tbsp. Watkins Original Grapeseed Oil
In a small bowl, stir together sesame seeds, salt &
pepper. Remove tough muscle from side of each scallop if necessary & pat scallops dry.
Dip flat sides of each scallop in sesame mixture. In a 12" nonstick skillet, heat oil
over moderately high heat until hot but not smoking & sauté scallops on flat sides
until sesame seeds are golden & scallops are just cooked through, about 4 min. total.
