Ruby Sparklers
2 Cups Flour
1/4 teas. Salt
1 Cup Butter, softened (can use margarine)
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 teas. Watkins
Vanilla, Original Double-Strength
1/2 teas. Watkins
Almond Extract
1 (6 Oz.) Package Chocolate Chips
Red Decorating Sugar
Sift flour and salt. Cream butter with 1/2 cup sugar
until fluffy. Beat in Watkins
Vanilla and almond extract. Stir in flour mixture a third at a time, blending
to make a stiff dough. Press dough in your hand, a level teaspoonful at a time, around 3
chocolate chips to make a small ball. Dip top in the decorating sugar. Bake in slow oven
at 325 degrees for 25 minutes or until firm.
