Rolled Spice Cookies

1 Cup Butter or Margarine
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
1 Egg
2 Tbsp. Corn Syrup
3 1/4 Cups Flour
2 teas. Baking Soda
2 teas. Watkins Cinnamon
1 teas. Watkins Ginger
1/2 teas. Watkins Ground Cloves

Thoroughly cream margarine and sugar. Add egg and beat until light and fluffy. Add orange peel and corn syrup; mix well. Mix together dry ingredients; stir into mixture. Chill. Roll dough on lightly floured board and cut with cookie cutters. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet and bake. Frost and decorate if desired.
