
Quick Cincinnati Chili
8 oz. / 227 g Lean Ground Beef
1 Cup / 250 mL Chopped Onion
2-1/2 Tbsp. / 40 mL Watkins Chili Seasoning
1 Tbsp. / 15 mL Watkins Beef Soup Base
1/4 to 1/2 teas. / 1.2 to 5 mL (to taste)
Watkins Cinnamon
1 Can (16 oz. / 454 g) Light Red Kidney Beans, drained and rinsed
1 Can (14-1/2 oz. / 411 g) Diced Tomatoes, undrained
1 Can (8 oz. / 227 g) Tomato Sauce
12 oz. / 340 g Dry Spaghetti, cooked per package directions
Garnish (if desired): Chopped Onion, Nonfat Sour Cream, and / or Nonfat Cheddar Cheese
Brown ground beef and onion in large non-stick kettle;
drain grease if necessary. Add remaining ingredients except spaghetti; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, at least 15 minutes. To serve, divide spaghetti evenly
among 6 warm dinner plates. Spoon chili over top. Garnish as desired. Makes 6 servings.
