Kris Kringle Cookies

This is the best cut-out cookie recipe I ever found. Plus it makes a lot!

1 cup butter 
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking soda dissolved in                                
2 Tbs. milk
1 1/2 tsp. cream tartar
1 tsp. Watkins Vanilla - Original Double Strength
1 tsp. salt                           
4 1/2 cups flour

Cream butter & sugar. Add other ingredients. Mix well. Chill dough. Roll out approximately 1/4” thick. Cut out cookies. Bake at 400^o for 8 - 15 min  Frost and decorate.
