Jewish Apple Cake
Beat 10 Minutes
4 Eggs
1/4 cup Orange Juice
1 Cup Watkins
Original Grapeseed Oil
2 teas. Watkins Vanilla, Original
Double-Strength
2 Cups Sugar
Blend the following and add to the mixture above:
3 Cups Flour
3 Teas. Watkins
Baking Powder
Fold in 1 1/2 Cups Chopped Nuts (if desired)
Apple Mixture:
4 Medium Apples (pared & sliced thin)
1 teas. Watkins
Cinnamon
3 Tbsp. Sugar
Grease tube pan (angel food cake pan). Pour 1/3
batter in pan. Add 1/2 apple mixture (see below) 1/3 batter then rest of apple mixture.
Finish with the last third of the batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hours.
