
Barbecue Meatballs
1-1/2 Pounds Lean Ground Beef
1 Cup Crushed Ritz Crackers
2 Cups Prepared Watkins
BBQ Sauce, divided
1 Egg, beaten
1/2 teas. Salt
1/4 teas. Watkins
Pepper
1/2 teas. Watkins
Ground Beef Seasoning
Dash of Watkins
Chili Powder
Dash of Watkins
Garlic Granules
1 Small Onion, diced
2 Tbsp. Butter
In a large bowl, combine beef, crackers, 1/4 cup barbecue
sauce, egg and seasonings. Melt butter in skillet; sauté onion until tender. Add onion to
beef mixture and mix well. Shape beef mixture into 1-1/2-inch meatballs and place on
lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 20 to 25 minutes or until browned. Pour
remaining sauce in crock pot. Add meatballs and stir gently to cover in sauce. Cover and
cook on high-heat for 2 hours or on low-heat for 4 hours, stirring occasionally. Yield: 6
servings.
