Banana Flips

1 Package Yellow Cake Mix
1/4 Cup Watkins Banana Dessert Mix
4 Eggs
1 1/2 Cup Milk
1/2 tsp. Watkins Vanilla, Original Double-Strength
1/2 Cup Milk
1 Cup White Sugar
1/2 Cup Butter, room temperature
1/2 Cup Vegetable Shortening
3 Tbsp. Flour
1 tsp. Watkins Banana Extract

For cake, combine first 5 ingredients in mixer bowl and beat at medium speed for 3 minutes. Divide batter evenly between 2 greased and paper-lined (wax paper & grease top of paper) jelly roll pans (15x10x1"). Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Remove paper; cool. For filling, combine the 1/2 cup milk and sugar in mixer bowl; mix until sugar dissolves completely. Add remaining ingredients; beat until fluffy. Spread filling over one cake layer and top with second layer. To serve, cut into rectangles. Makes 20 - 24 servings.
