
Alfredo Pasta Sauce
1-1/2 teas. / 7.5 mL
Watkins Original
Grapeseed Oil
1/4 Cup / 60 mL Chopped Green Onion
1 Tbsp. / 15 mL All-Purpose Flour
3/4 to 1 teas. / 4 to 5 mL Watkins Liquid Garlic Spice
1 Can (12 oz. / 340 g) Evaporated Skim Milk
1/2 Cup / 125 mL Grated Parmesan Cheese
1/4 teas. / 2.5 mL Watkins Black Pepper
Salt, to taste
Sauté green onion in vegetable oil until tender. Stir in
the flour and Liquid Spice until smooth. Slowly stir in evaporated skim milk. Cook over
medium heat until mixture comes to a boil and begins to thicken, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and stir in cheese and pepper. Serve over hot pasta. Makes 1-1/2
Cups / 375 ml sauce, 1/2 Cup / 125 ml per serving.
