
Apple Pie
7 Cups Apples peeled and chopped (Granny Smith or
Macintosh are best)
1 1/2 Tbsp. Watkins Apple Bake Seasoning
1 Cup Sugar
1 Tbsp. Watkins Vanilla, Original
Double-Strength
2 8" Pie Shells
1 Tbsp. Flour
1 Tbsp. Butter
Milk
1 1/2 Teas. Sugar
Pinch of Watkins Cinnamon
Place one crust in Pie Plate; set aside. In small bowl
combine sugar, flour, Apple Bake Seasoning, and Watkins Vanilla; mix well. Place half
of apples in crust; sprinkle with half of sugar mixture. Top with rest of apples and sugar
mixture. Dot filling with butter. Place second pastry over pie; seal and flute edges; cut
slits in top of pie. Brush with milk and dust with cinnamon and remaining sugar. Bake at
400*F for 40 to 50 minutes or until crust is golden and apples are tender and juicy.
